People often say, “I don’t have a large estate so I don’t need a Will”.  Everyone should have a Will.  If you have children you should have a Will to direct who will be the Guardian of your children if both you and the child’s other parent both die before the child is 18 years of age.  If you have, or may ever have, any assets and you want to direct who will get your assets you need a Will.  The cost of having a Will prepared is relatively minor.

Your Will can name an Executor and waive the statutory requirement that the Executor purchase a Fiduciary Bond.  The cost of the Bond will of the exceed the cost of having a Will prepared.
